Brett Grocke is a 6th generation Barossan who believes in 'wines built from the dirt up'. This Magnolia Blanc (100% Semillon) is exactly that. The fruit comes off the organically-farmed Magnolia Vineyard planted on the granitic sands below Mengler's Hill in the Vine Vale subregion of the Barossa. Unfined and unfiltered, the waxy Semillon sits long on your palate with notes of lemon rind and honey. It also has a great line and freshness, which is reminiscent of oyster shells and sea-spray.
