Les Fruits, the passion project of Tim Stock: wine importer by day, and by night… well that’s his business. Tim makes his wines in the shed at Commune of Buttons, taking advantage of organically farmed sites in the Adelaide Hills with the occasional fruit from the Barossa Valley too.
His style of winemaking reflects the wines he imports and enjoys; wines that speak of site and place, gently handled, vibrant, and refreshing. These are another great example of the new wave of winemakers changing the landscape in the Adelaide Hills, producing wines with freshness and focus.
We’ve been big supporters of his project for a few years now and with each vintage, the wines get better and better. If you’ve not had the chance, this release is a great snapshot of Les Fruits and what’s to come, as Tim hones his craft and style further. Pay particular attention to the Voix de Raisins Rosé, which we love each year.
Tim debuted his new releases last weekend at our Open Season Wine Fair and they were a hit. A lot of you may have had the chance to try them and will want to grab more. For those that didn't this is your chance here!
Christmas Cheat Sheet:
What we will be drinking this Christmas!
Christmas is coming!
Last week's selection was all about gifts for our loved ones, and not so loved ones... This week it's about what we will be drinking this Christmas. It's a really busy time for all of us and as a team we take this opportunity to relax and enjoy the best of what we do: work with great wine.
We had a chat as a team and put together a list of the wines we are looking forward to cracking this Christmas. It's a pretty eclectic mix that hopefully gives you a sense of what we are loving at the moment and what we think would excite the variety of personalities with whom we will each be sharing Christmas.
Your Christmas Cheat Sheet is here.
