The 2013 is surprisingly tight and oozes with citrus fruits. Lemons and grapefruit come to mind on the nose, with a pithy acid driven palate to match. Other vintages of this wine have been much richer and more typical of the Alsace region, where as this wine is more reminiscent of something you'd find in a new world Riesling.
