Wines tasted were the 2012 Pinot Gris and the 2013 Signature Series Sauvignon Blanc. Both wines are made from Marlborough fruit and are not a million miles away from one another in style. The Sauvignon Blanc is rather powerfully forward and fruit-driven but shows a bit of passionfruit, legumes and red capsicum in what is overall a pretty good Sauvvy. The Pinot Gris is again rather fruit-forward and powerfull but it has a tad of residual sugar in good balance with the acidity so it's rather a nice wine to glug on a lazy Sunday afternoon I imagine.
