We need your help!

We’re always working to improve your customer experience at our store. Constantly looking at ways for you to get the most out of the wine you buy.

We love our store and the people that come into it. You’re the most important part of our business and without you we simply wouldn’t exist. What’s worse, we wouldn’t be able to share our love of wine!

As a valued customer of our store, this week (and beyond), we would like some constructive feedback from you. It’s a really helpful way to let us know what you think we’re doing right and where we can improve.

Great Value Wines

This week we wanted to highlight a range of some excellent value wines, some of which are new to the store and some are some store-staples that we’ve restocked up on.

The Mr. Mick Riesling is probably the best value Riesling in the store and the rest of their range that we stock is great as well. We tried the La Valentina wines recently and were so impressed with how they deliver for the price that we stocked up on 3 dozen of each so that we have enough to share with you. The Stift Goetweig Gruner Veltliner is an excellent well-made example of this alternate variety for anyone wanting to try something a little bit different. The Antonio Arraez is really a no-brainer for a Spanish red with over 5 years of age on it and the Spinifex Syrah is a staple in the shop that we re-stocked because it always heavily over-delivers.

These are some fantastically priced daily-drinkers that you really can’t go wrong with. Stock up on these while you can!

Marabino Tasting

Saturday 8th

3pm - 6pm

Join us this Saturday for a tasting of the excellent wines of Sicily's Marabino!

Marabino is located in the sunny southeast corner of Sicily in the heart of Val di Noto in the Contrada of Buonivini. Marabino make wines biodynamically with no chemicals in the vineyard whatsoever and no additives in the winemaking either. The vineyards spanning across the low hills are also interspersed with orchards and olive groves.

Some of you may remember Miki who used to work here - the friendly Italian who worked Monday and Friday nights. Unfortunately he has left us but has joined Italian Wine Importers and will be returning to the store to pour for us this Saturday. These are the wines he'll be pouring:

Marabino Eureka Chardonnay

Marabino Rosanera

Marabino Rosso di Contrada

Marabino Muscatedda

These are some fantastic and expressive wines at great prices. Come on down to the store and try these out for yourself!
