2026 is in full swing now - it's time for us to stop reminiscing on the wines that excited us last year and show you what we've brought in this year so far!

This selection showcases some nice European imports we've tried over the last month. The Fulcro is an excellent Albarino is much more interesting than most with a bit more concentration and body. The Marco de Bartoli is a great expression of Catarratto from Sicily with nice acidity, texture and complexity. The Gobelsburg is a steal for some fantastic Gruner Veltliner directly from its homeland in Austria. The Les Freres Engel Riesling showcases the classic Alsatian style of the grape being dry with great phenolic ripeness.

The 2 reds both come from Spain - Cesar Marquez is the main man of Mencia from Bierzo in the NW of Spain. This drinks like the lovechild of Pinot Noir and Gamay. The ARTUKE is a slightly fuller yet elegant Rioja. Not quite "old school Rioja" but can definitely hold up to a nice piece of meat.
