NSW Wine Cellar Door
There’s something special about a weekend spent exploring a wine region. Visiting cellar doors, settling in for a long lunch, perhaps fitting in a spa treatment or a round of golf along the way. It’s one of our favourite ways to slow down and discover somewhere new.
But if a trip to the country isn’t on the cards this weekend, we’ve found the next best thing.
The NSW Wine Cellar Door is taking over The Rocks this weekend, bringing together some of the state’s most exciting wineries in one place. It’s a rare opportunity to meet the people behind the wines, taste across a range of producers, and experience the feel of a regional cellar door without leaving Sydney.
Our very own Chris Loth will be there pouring the CLO range, and to celebrate the event we’ve also put together a collection of some of our favourite NSW producers - from the region’s established icons to the quiet overachievers that deserve far more attention. Many of these producers we always keep in rotation in the store but there are some new ones here such as the Vino Friendo wines made by Angus Raddon in Murrumbateman/Hilltops in the same winery as Ravensworth as well as a new Pinot cuvee from Gilbert in Orange and the newest vintage from Canobolas! Pick out some of these great wines and see what our beautiful NSW has to offer.
