Ochota Barrels
Summer Release
Many of you will know the wines of Ochota Barrels, the story and also the collective sadness surrounding Taras's recent passing. His partner in life and wine, Amber is keeping their dream alive, continuing to produce the wines we all love and it's with great excitement that we can offer you this years Summer release from Ochota Barrels.
The summer release is where we see the more serious and structured wines arrive. The wines that need that extra bit of love, care and attention in the winery and in bottle to come together. These wines typically benefit from further patience in the cellar too.
The quantities are very limited and we won't be able to get more so if these are on your wishlist for the year then this is your chance.

You say you want a resolution?
Well, you know... Resolutions are for January...
The Silly Season is upon us; the time to lose all resolve!
The theme for our end of year Wine Fair is without clarity: a bitmap of blurred lines between the rendered, clean and crisp laser shooters of precision to the hazy, unfined, unfiltered funky and fuzzy fizzers. There'll be something for everyone, to level up your summer. Game on!
With over 80 wines to try, tickets are only $25, and include a Riedel tasting glass, yours to take home.
Featuring winemakers Tim Ward of I'll Fly Away, Doug Woodward of Wedded to the Weather, Will Gilbert of Gilbert Family Wines and Nick Spencer of Nick Spencer Wines pouring their own, plus plenty of friendly reps splashing their best shining wines to make the summer season sparkle. Rain, hail or more rain, it's certain to be a great day out!
The stellar line-up includes:

Crudo
by Lambert Wines
Luke Lambert is the enigmatic figure behind Lambert Wines. Rather than seeking the spotlight, Luke is quite a shy, softly spoken guy, who prefers to let his wines do the talking.
And boy, do they talk.
For many years we've been huge supporters of Luke's wines. The three wines he produces under the Lambert Wines label have garnered a cult following, especially the Nebbiolo which has become one of the most sought after Nebbioli produced in Australia.
We tried the wines last week and they are true to form as always. The Chardonnay is crackling with energy and fleshed out with citrus and stonefruits on the palate, it offers incredible value for the price. Shiraz that straddles the line between fruit and savoury nuance, think black and blue fruits flecked with black pepper, midweight and very moreish, and the Rosé is always a cracker too!
These wines sell out every year, and will so again, so don't wait!
