PRODUCER PROFILE: LITTLE REDDIE
Pat Underwood's Little Reddie project began in 2012 with a miniature barrel of Shiraz fermented in a Castlemaine backyard, and has stayed rooted in Central Victoria ever since. Pat prefers to work with individual sites and growers who share a deep connection to their land, picking each block on the day it’s ready. Soil and vine health is always the priority and nothing is made to a formula: every wine and every vintage gets its own approach.
"An individual wine can be seen as a combination of texture, flavour and most importantly shape. I want these characters to be traced back to place and variety."
This new releases show the continuous evolution of this amazing, thoughtful young producer - it seems that each new release is an improvement on something that was already fantastic. These wines always perfectly balance fun, freshness and drinkability with an understated seriousness and complexity which always offer great value.
We've recently stocked up on Pat's wines and took on some new wines as well. The two new wines include the '25 'Maceration White' which is a nice combination of Riesling and Pinot Grigio co-fermented on their skins in cement for 3 weeks and the '26 'Rose' that shows delicate Nebbiolo-derived characters - perfect for Spring and Summer. We have the classic '26 'Super Juice' as well which blurs the line of rose and chilled red, not that the labels matter in this case as it's delicious. Finally, we have 2 of his reds: the '26 'Nebbiolo Refosco' which is a delicious, versatile light red and the '25 'Refosco dal Peduncolo' shows the glory of the grape in a light/medium-bodied frame with a bouquet of red fruits, herbs and spices. These are some excellent wines and there is a reason why we always stock and sell out of them. Try some of this new release today!

DISCOVERY POUR: ADLIB PALAIS GRENACHE BLANC
This is a Grenache "Blanc", not Grenache Blanc, meaning this has been made from red Grenache grapes as a white wine by pressing the juice off its skins. The resulting wine is incredibly fresh, pure and packed with high acid, lovely texture and heaps of stone fruits, salinity and an almost sherbet-like finish. This is incredibly refreshing to drink by itself but also screams for prawns and oysters. Discover this Grenache "Blanc" today!

JUST IN
Sylvain Cathiard
The Sylvain Cathiard wines need little introduction to wine collectors - they are some of the most sought-after wines in Burgundy. Based in the prestigious village of Vosne-Romanée, they own choice parcels around many of the best plots of the village and a few outside the village as well. This is the more powerful and brooding side of Burgundy and incredibly compelling expressions of their respective plots. Snap these up!
