Tibaldi Tasting

Saturday 11th

3pm - 6pm

Join us this Saturday for a tasting of the exciting wines of Tibaldi from Piemonte (plus some bubbles to start).

Monica and Daniela are sisters with a lifelong passion for winemaking in the vibrant, biodiverse land of Roero. Inspired by their father, Stefano, and grandfather Tunin, they chose Pocapaglia to craft their wines.

They oversee every stage of production - from vineyard to cellar, and even marketing; combining commitment, tenacity, and joy. For them, winemaking is more than a profession; it is a way of life, driven by passion and a deep connection to the land.

The winery was founded to vinify the family’s own grapes. From the very beginning, it has embraced a philosophy of organic farming in the vineyards, aiming to preserve balance among the diverse ecosystems of the land.

These are the wines that we'll be pouring on the day:

Ruge Prosecco Superiore Brut
Tibaldi Langhe Favorita 2024
Tibaldi ‘Bricco delle Passere’ Roero Arneis Riserva 2023
Tibaldi Langhe Nebbiolo 2023
Tibaldi ‘Roccapalea’ Roero 2021

Come down to the store after missing a week with the long weekend and try these gems out for yourself!

Adlib

We've brought in some new wines from fan favourite South Australian producer Adlib - best known for their aesthetic labels and the infamous 'Daddy' cuvee. These wines are much fresher, lower-alcohol expressions of red grapes from regions usually known for producing the opposite style. One of the newest wines is a unique white wine made from a red grape - the '24 'Percy Mourvedre Blanc' from vines planted in the late 1860s in biodynamic vineyards in Vine Vale, Barossa Valley. This is fermented in egg and spends 18 months on its fine lees in tank creating a textural white akin to Aligoté or Muscadet. The '25 'Molly Syrah Rose' is a new textural rose from old Syrah vines in McLaren Vale producing a rose that is much more savoury and complex than most. Finally, the '25 'Drinky Red' is an ultra light, chillable red made from predominantly old organic vines of Grenache with a sprinkling of Cinsault to produce a spicy and dangerously drinkable light red. Fans of the "Les Fruits" wines should check this out. These wines never last long in the shop so pick up some of these fun bangers before we run out!
