The Morone winery is located in the medieval village of Guardia Sanframondi, a town lying on the hill overlooking the valley of the Calore river and Mount Taburno, also named for its "sleeping Sannio" profile. In the hills that slope down towards the winding inlets of the river, in an area that is still intact, with a strong magical connotation, steeped in legends such as those linked to the witches of Benevento, Eleonora Morone and her family wanted to create an innovative project with well-rooted firm in tradition. The spirit of the project is well summarized in the Logo, in fact, the roots drawn in it represent the grandmother Berta who, now more than eighty years old, looks favorably on the creation of the cellar because it is the realization of her dream of all time. Giovanni Morone, Physiatrist doctor and researcher at the important research and treatment center of the Santa Lucia Foundation in Rome, is specialized in rehabilitation of robotic gait. In the cellar he deals with marketing and relations with the universities of oenology. Quality is the result of the Oenologist Annamaria Della Porta, a qualified winemaker from the Tuscan school with a past spent at the Frescobaldi cellars and at the prestigious Ferragamo 'il Borro " winery. She too took care of the birth of the winery, she wanted to choose the most suitable machines and the best conformation of the cellar. In particular: a powerful cooling system guarantees long fermentations at controlled temperatures. The nitrogen system guarantees the absence of oxygen in every phase. The Bucher press, plus Vaslin, a true jewel for the vinification and soft pressing of white grapes, is a guarantee of aromas and fragrances. - Importer Note
