Of all the wines offered by Annandale Cellars, few offer the variety of flavours that Chardonnay brings. Chardonnay enjoys worldwide popularity and for good reason. The grapes bud and ripen early, growing best in soils containing limestone and certain types of clay (like that of Champagne, Chablis and the Cote d'Or).

Not only do the grapes bring fruit early and grow easily, but they can also be transformed into a wide variety of styles. Some Chardonnay bring rich and buttery notes while others feature a leaner, flinty and minerally taste. The hugely popular and widely planted variety can be a hit or a miss, but we hope to pick all the hits so you won’t have to miss.
