Domaine Joncier was handed from father to daughter Marine in 1989 who's passion for Biodynamics has created a superb range of Lirac Cru's. Strict Biodynamic practices, low yields (12 to 28 HL/HA) vs the 40 allowed in the appellation, gravity fed underground ferments in concrete and studious blending are the key elements to these superb wines. Lirac is located 12km from Avignon and is the most southerly AOC of the Rhone Valley with 85% of production in red wine blends. Lirac, as is the case with Marine's AOC blends often slant a little more towards Syrah than CNDP. - Importer Note
