Collection: Rossese Bianco

The Rossese Bianco, cited in ancient books of 15th century, is a indigenous grape coming from Eastern Liguria (Cinqueterre). This grape spread in the Alba region, Piedmont but it disappeared from both regions because it produced low yields. The Manzone Family saved Rossese Bianco from its extinction in an old family vineyard. Since 1982 Giovanni Manzone has produced an intriguing, age-worthy white with a remarkable structure. After many years of research and bureaucracy with the University of Turin, from 2012 there is a new white DOC appellation in Piedmont: Langhe Rossese Bianco
