Collection: Tenute Orestiadi

Tenute Orestiadi is a contemporary Sicilian winery based in the hills of Gibellina, in the Belìce Valley of western Sicily. Founded in 2008, the estate was born from a collaboration between local winegrowers and the Orestiadi Foundation, with a mission to unite viticulture and art as expressions of Sicilian identity and resilience—particularly in the wake of the 1968 Belìce earthquake that reshaped the region.

The vineyards lie between 200 and 500 metres above sea level, where the varied soils of clay, limestone, and black volcanic sand create a striking diversity of terroirs. The estate cultivates both native and international varieties, including Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Grillo and Catarratto, alongside Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Farming follows sustainable principles, with great attention to soil health and minimal chemical use.

In the cellar, modern winemaking meets regional tradition. Fermentations are temperature-controlled to preserve purity, while maturation takes place in a mix of stainless steel, large oak casks and barriques, depending on the variety. The resulting wines are expressive and balanced—ripe yet fresh, textured yet refined—showcasing the complexity of Sicily’s inland highlands.
