Delivery

Delivery is free for orders over $500

Annandale Cellars delivers Australia wide using Australia Post and our own in-house delivery service. The price for delivery is calculated by Australia Post based on the weight of the parcel(s) and the delivery address in relation to our store.

We will dispatch your order in a timely fashion, generally within 24 hours of receiving confirmation of your order. Delivery times vary depending on your location. If you are located in a capital city of Australia you can expect delivery within 2-5 business days of dispatch.

Please be mindful of the weather when placing your order. We will do our best to avoid sending wines in extreme heat, but due to the limited storage space in our store we can not hold off sending orders for an extended period of time.

We do not usually deliver to addresses outside Australia due to complex international liquor laws and taxes and the expense of shipping. Should you require your order to be shipped outside Australia please contact Annandale Cellars and discuss your order with us.

In some extraordinary circumstances delivery may not be possible to some very remote locations in Australia or may result in an extended period being required to fulfill an order. We will make every effort to contact you in the event of inability or delay and discuss alternative options with you.

Annandale Cellars will not be responsible for unfulfilled orders resulting from incorrect or out of date personal information details.

Requirements of NSW Packaged Liquor Licence Laws place the following limits on online liquor sales and deliveries:

Unattended Same Day Delivery. Same-day deliveries are only permitted to be made to the purchaser or another adult (who is not intoxicated) present to receive the delivery.

Non-same Day Unattended Delivery. Require the purchaser to specify delivery instructions on leaving the goods without signature; with the delivery agent or freight contractor receiving those instructions. (eg where to safely leave the goods to minimize theft or weather exposure).

Attended Delivery. Same-day & non-same day deliveries are permitted to be made to the purchaser or an authorised adult (who is not intoxicated) providing acceptable identification to establish age.

The purchaser or an authorized adult are to be present to take receipt of the goods, unless otherwise authorized by you. Our contracted freight carrier will only leave the goods if you or your nominated adult is not present to take receipt, if prior explicit written or email consent is received before the delivery attempt. Neither Annandale Cellars nor its contracted freight carrier will be held responsible for loss or damage of your order if left unattended at the delivery address.

Goods delivered to you can be exposed to extremes of temperature, which can be detrimental to their quality, and this risk to the integrity of the goods during transit remains with you.

Annandale Cellars deliveries undertaken by a contracted freight carrier are bound by that freight carrier’s own Privacy Policy.

 

Click & Collect

You may purchase from acellars.com.au and opt to collect your purchase from the shop.

We will advise you when your order is ready to be collected. Your purchase will usually be available for collection from Annandale Cellars within 24 hours of placing your order. 

We will contact you should there be any delay in preparing your order.

Please contact us if you expect that you will be delayed in picking up your order.

 

Christmas and New Year Period Deliveries

Deliveries in December are usually delayed. This coupled with the hot weather can be detrimental to all wine orders being sent anywhere in the country. For this reason we advise you to order outside of December (and preferably not in Summer) to ensure the arrival of your order in a timely manner and without jepodising the quality of the wine.

According to Australia Post's own notices on deliveries during the Christmas and New Year period we can not guarantee that Australia Post deliveries interstate will make their destination if your order is placed after the 8th December.

During December we will do our best to deliver all Sydney metro orders ourselves so they will get to you next day unless the next day is a Sunday or a Public Holiday.
