COS, located in the DOCG of Cerasuolo di Vittoria, is among the most famous of Italian wine producers today. Their ancestral methods and cultural history runs deep within their veins, and their wines are a reflection of this.

Rami 2013

Think of the sun - it's in every bottle of Rami. Vibrant and lively, yet textured and drying. Seeing as the wine has a few days skin contact, I think the flavours come from both the sun and the skins. It's seriously delicious!

Frappato 2014

Young, energetic and attention-seeking. It's the baby of the COS family with its juicy, fun and simplified nature. Fermented in concrete, fully de-stemmed and all the more pure because of it.

Pithos Bianco 2014

If the Rami is the sun than the Pithos is definitely the earth. It spends an extended time on skins in amphorae (clay pots) making for a more structured and intensely defined wine that is very savoury in nature.

Pithos Rosso 2013

This is a living wine - it changes with time and that's the only constant. Amphorae fermented with extended maceration to round it out. It's savoury and complex, and changes in the glass at every glance. 

Cerasuolo di Vittoria 2012

The Mecca of the Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG. Its sexy fruit laced with earth-like tones, a deeply rooted structure and understated power bring this wine into a league of its own. You won’t be able to put your glass down.

These wines are very rare and limited. We believe the 2012 Cerasuolo di Vittoria and the 2013 Rami are better than they've ever been, but all the wines are fantastic in their own right. They are exquisite.
