Collection: De La Beche

De La Bêche is a highly anticipated, brand-new estate in the Macedon Ranges founded by prominent Australian viticultural consultant Tim Brown. Located in Taradale, Victoria, the tiny 0.5-hectare vineyard is a masterclass in viticulture, ultra-closely planted at an extraordinary 15,000 vines per hectare. Named "of the spade" as a nod to soil importance, the project focuses on site expression over winemaking intervention, utilizing ancient, seabed-derived soils to craft wines with exceptional natural structure, depth, and clarity. The inaugural 2024 vintage was crafted in collaboration with Michael Dhillon at the famed Bindi winery. De La Bêche produces micro-quantities of exceptionally concentrated, complex Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Aligoté that have quickly garnered critical acclaim from top reviewers like James Halliday's Wine Companion.
