Tasting Notes
This Côte de Nuits-Villages Rouge is primarily sourced from the lieu-dit Queue de Hareng in Brochon, this wine comes from old vines (some planted as early as 1952) on east-facing limestone-clay slopes. It is aged in about 25% new French oak, resulting in a wine that is more structured and earthy than the Bourgogne Rouge. Tasting notes highlight bright red fruit, such as raspberry and wild strawberry, alongside deeper notes of black cherry, spice, and a subtle stony finish. - Chris L
