Tasting Notes
The Barolo Marassio represents the most powerful and structured wine of the Barolo trio from Giulia Negri. Hailing from the highest parcels with substantial active limestone and chalk in the soil, this wine is intensely mineral-driven. The nose is deeper, offering dark plum and black cherry notes interweaved with dried herbs and a pronounced saline character. The palate is dense and rich, featuring noble, fine-grained tannins and a long, stony finish that requires ample cellar time to reach its full potential.
