Tasting Notes
The fruit for this Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from the villages of Marsannay, Gevrey Chambertin, Brochon and Fixin. Bright lifted aromas and tastes abound here shortly after decanting. Enjoy the plush, dark red fruits with sweeter spices, mushroom and forest floor, and a dusty edge blend together beautifully with savoury, fine chalky tannins. 12.5% alc. So drinkable plus the complexity added by the texture make this a cut above your everyday Bourgogne Rouge. Loved with our beef and roasted vegetables meal. - Michael L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
