Collection: Yohan Lardy

Yohan Lardy is part of Beaujolais’ new generation of vignerons, deeply committed to reviving the region’s reputation for serious, site-driven wines. Based in Fleurie, he works tiny parcels of old vines (many between 50 and 100 years old) across Fleurie, Moulin-à-Vent and Chénas. These are some of the most expressive terroirs in the crus, and Yohan farms them organically, by hand, with an emphasis on biodiversity and soil health.

After time spent working harvests in Chile and South Africa, Yohan returned home with an international perspective but a steadfast belief that Gamay is capable of producing profound, ageworthy wines. His approach is precise but traditional: whole-bunch ferments, natural yeasts, gentle extractions, and élevage in large neutral oak or cement to showcase purity and finesse rather than winemaking artifice.

The resulting wines are bright yet structured, marked by perfume, energy, and a sense of place. They carry the depth of old vines with the vitality of a new era in Beaujolais. Yohan’s cuvées are already sought after in France and abroad, placing him firmly among the most exciting young growers to watch.
