Tasting Notes
Excellent, excellent, excellent! From old Gamay vines planted in sandy granite soils at the foot of the Moulin-à-Vent hill, this Chénas offers lifted aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and violet, with hints of spice and crushed stone. The palate is supple and energetic, showing juicy red fruit framed by fine, silky tannins and a streak of mineral tension. Finishing long and precise, it captures both the elegance of Chénas and the depth that comes from Yohan Lardy’s sensitive, low-intervention approach. - Chris L
