Tasting Notes
A textural rose from old vine Syrah grown in Willunga, McLaren Vale, leaning into a more savoury, layered style. Far from simple, it shows watermelon, red florals and a hint of bergamot, with subtle spice and citrus running through it. Dry and complex, the palate is long and structured with a gentle savoury edge, making it a more thoughtful, food friendly take on rose. - Pete L
Made by my mate Jimmy, jack of many wine trades, has turned to winemaking over recent years. He's also the guy behind the amazing wine events that support small producers called The Fruitful Pursuit.
Jeez he's making some really slurpable, glugable, drinkable... you get the point... wines out of SA from organic or biodynamic vineyards. The whites are pristine and fresh, the reds are light and juicy. Get around them!
