Tasting Notes
Aetnae Etna Aperitif is a Sicilian aperitif crafted near Mount Etna, aiming to offer an alternative to traditional aperitifs like Aperol. This 700ml aperitif is produced using organic Sicilian wine, specifically a blend of Carricante and Catarratto grapes, infused with bitter almonds, tangerine and orange peels, and a selection of herbs including chamomile, gentian, cloves, various types of absinthes, and rhubarb. The result is a fresh and bright profile with notes of lemongrass, mandarin, orange zest, and a delicate almond bitterness. With an alcohol content of 15% by volume, it can be enjoyed on its own over ice or as a component in citrus-forward cocktails. - Aaron C
