Aetnae built the whole operation around the herbs growing on Mount Etna. Giuseppe Librizzi walked away from engineering in 2018 to do it, and after a few years of trialling things this vermouth is one of the results.
Artemisia pontica does the bitter work alongside liquorice, chamomile, vanilla and orange. Velvety and long on the palate with a proper bitter orange peel finish pushing back against the sweetness. Sicilian through and through. - Pete L
