One bottle of this disappears and you immediately reach for another. Frappato leads at 75% with Nero d'Avola making up the rest, off two vineyards in Contrada Bastonaca in Vittoria, and the Frappato from Vigna Nicosia gets a single night on skins before going in with the direct pressed fruit. Watermelon and pomegranate with a tart sour cherry edge and lovely acid running underneath. Exactly what good Italian rosato should do. - Pete L
