Tasting Notes
Made by the hands of the great Elisabetta Foradori, the Ampeleia wines from Tuscany are just as brilliant, only different. The Bianco is made with a blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia, Grecanico, Ansonica and of course a few unidentified varieties for good measure. The wine is fermented on skins in concrete and shows a waxy texture from the skins along with a saline freshness that drives the palate. She really can do no wrong. - Chris L
