Tasting Notes
A cracking oddball of a white, this. It throws Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and a splash of Pinot Blanc together, whole cluster pressed and left to ferment naturally in little 150L barrels they call cigarillos. Nearly two years on lees with some gentle stirring builds real texture and depth, all ripe orchard fruit, smoky mineral and spice across a generous, layered palate. It's a full 14% but holds its balance and vibrancy, then rests in the Dolomytos tunnel a while before release. - Pete L
