Three years resting on lees, a good deal longer than the rules ask for, and that is where the texture comes from. All Pinot Noir off forty year old vines across three premier cru villages, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Avenay-Val-d'Or and Bisseuil, vinified and given eight months in barrel before that long rest. Fresh red fruit and flowers with a mineral thread running through it, structured without ever losing the freshness. - Pete L
