Tasting Notes
A full 14% of this is still red wine blended back in, which is where the colour and a good deal of the fruit come from. Pinot Noir leads at three quarters with Chardonnay making up the rest, all off forty year old vines at Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and Bisseuil. Ripe red fruit and brioche with a hint of brown sugar sitting behind, then wild strawberry and tart raspberry across a properly fresh palate. - Pete L
