Tasting Notes
Jobard's Charmes is a blend of six tiny parcels; four in Les Charmes- Dessus and two in the lower-lying Dessous sector, totalling a minuscule 0.26 hectares. Vine age varies; the key holding is a small parcel situated directly below Les Perrières that was planted in 1963; though Jobard estimates an average age would work out at around 30 years old. A stunning wine, it is showing more florals than Genevrières and more extract or matter than the Poruzots. Toned, wiry, silky and extraordinarily long; there's more than a hint of Grand Cru here. - Importer Note
