Tasting Notes
The idea behind this drink comes from a brilliant experience while hiking in the Besimauda mountains. E & P were tasting alpine flowers and came across a particularly bitter nibble of gentian; to 'refresh' their palate they drunk some hibiscus tea they had made: best combination ever! Bitter is a blend approx 50:50 hibiscus sugared infusion + a separate infusion of gentian, orange peel, licorice, wild fennel, rosemary, croton & ginger.
