Pies Negros is a dark fruited Rioja that leans more toward depth and precision than easy charm. Tempranillo is given extra edge by Graciano, bringing structure, freshness and a cooler, more serious profile. Aromas move through black berries, subtle spice and savoury tones, while the palate stays poised and energetic, with fine tannins and a smooth, polished feel. There’s richness here, but it’s tightly controlled, lifted by balance and clarity rather than weight.
