Tasting Notes
'Toit du Monde' Gamay grapes come from east facing, old vines planted on the hills of Bibost in 1929, between 500 and 700 meters above sea level, on a vein of blue diorite (similar to the soil in Côte de Brouilly). A strong aroma on the nose that disappears after a few minutes of opening. Whole cluster and indigenous yeast fermentation (no sulphur added). On the palate it is ultra fruity combining a stew of strawberries and blackcurrants... An elegant length. It is greedy and enhanced by a few tannins. - Importer Note
