Tasting Notes
Jazpemi is a single vineyard in the town of Valgella in Valtellina. Got it?! The vineyard was planted in the 1930s on steep slopes at altitudes between 490 to 560m. It was fermented on skins for 4 months in concrete and stainless steel, then put to rest in large format oak for a year, followed by another 9 months in concrete to bring it all together. A lovely aromatic and structured expression of the variety and the region. - Chris L
