This juicy little German number is a delight to drink. How delicious! Slightly lighter in body and concentration compared to its big brother Malterdinger, but nonetheless a superb wine. It's easy and delightful, with everything in check. - Chris L
Situated in Baden, Germany'TheHuber Winery in Malterdingen is in the deep South ‚– West of Germany, located on the foothills of the Black Forest mountains between Strassbourg in the French Alsace Region and the city Basel in Switzerland. On approx. 25 ha we cultivate round about 65 % Pinot Noir. For over 700 years Pinot Noir is cultivated in our village first documented in 1285. Cisterciensan monks brought the Pinot Noir tradition from Burgundy into our region,! Awesome Pinot Noirs by any measure. Bernard Huber is given the top rating of five stars in the Gault Millau Wine Guide (the Gambero Rosso of Germany) and several of his Pinot Noir are regularly among the finest produced in Germany in any given year.
