Tasting Notes
Named after the famous Fanny Finch this is a delicious, complex and thoughtful wine. Bright clear yellow in colour and an aroma rich in stonefruit, orange rind and heady floral notes with spice and curry leaf notes deftly woven though it. The palate has a compelling counterplay between intensity and lightness, the richness of fruit is braced with a mineral water type purity, freshness and length. - Winery Note
Bobar is the playfully cheeky French term that means "a little messed up"... the wines are certainly not. These are fabulous wines from Tom Belford and his wife Sally, where they have drawn inspiration from their wine making experiences in Beaujolais. Yarra Valley wine for sure, but with an edginess... a new look at Yarra... well worth having a look at.
