A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) from Steels Creek’s Blackwood Hill and Shiraz (35%) from Seville Estate. Aromatic, bright, medium bodied, fresh and generous. Raspberry, currant, plum, spice and herbal notes, cool and juicy in the palate. - Winemaker Note
Bobar is the playfully cheeky French term that means "a little messed up"...the wines are not. These are fabulous wine from Tom Belford and his wife where they have drawn inspiration from their wine making experiences in Beaujolais. Yarra Valley wine for sure, but with an edginess...a new look at Yarra...well worth having a look at.
