Tasting Notes
Lighter and more delicate style of dessert wine. Sweet but not out of balance or overly viscous. Fantastic with lighter fruit-based desserts. - Chris L
Alain Brumont has several estates situated in the great south west region of France. The fruit for this little quaffer comes from vineyards situated amongst the rolling hills of La Gascogne. He is an intense man with a straight-forward approach to winemaking that is both intimidating and refreshing. While it is his great domains of Bouscasse and Chateau Montus in Madiran that ignite the most interest, his whites from the appellation of Pacherenc du Vic-Bihl should not be ignored.
