Tasting Notes
Bruno Lafon's day job is at Domaine de Comte Lafon, one of the best White Burgundy producers in Meursault. His family's estate produces some of the best Chardonnay in the world. This project is a little different as he is sourcing fruit from growers in the Languedoc who are farming sustainably and producing honest and approachable wines like this Chardonnay that won't deplete the bank balance. This Chardonnay is fresh and mid weight with ripe apple and subtle stone fruit characters. It's aged in stainless steel so has no oak character to the wine. - Pete L
