Tasting Notes
This wine really caught me by surprise, but it shouldn't really, it's the 2nd label for Lake Breeze from Langhorne Creek. I have to admit I'm not usually the biggest fan of old-style South Australian Cabernet Merlot's, or Shiraz for that matter. Usually I find them too thick, over-worked and extracted, and to be honest a bit of a headache. The Bull Ant, however, was a real surprise. It's still has that rich, full-bodied flavour but there is a softness and savouriness to this wine, especially if you drink it on the 2nd night. That's my advice anyway. Great value too - Chris L
