Tasting Notes

Here is a crazy cool wine from Emilia Romagna in Italy. It's a skin contact (orange wine) made from Albana, a rare and native grape to the region. The wine also has some residual sugar which works incredibly well with the phenolic texture and tight acidity. The best thing about this wine, however, is the way it opens up and evolves over a number of days. Upon opening there is real richness and decadence to the wine, but over the next few days you will see the wine become finer, with more acidity and less sweetness. Just an incredible wine that over delivers. - Chris L
