Tasting Notes
It is the purest experience of Valtènesi: a young wine made from only Groppello grapes – an indigenous vine which has been cultivated in Valtènesi since the 14th century (the name comes from “gròp”, meaning “knot” in the local language, because of its tight bunch). Its color is intense and bright ruby red. The aroma is young but robust, fruity and slightly spiced. Its taste is velvety, mineral and delicate, with a persistent almand aftertaste. It is excellent with roasted, grilled and stewed meat, ham and salami, fish in tomato sauce and medium aged cheese. - Winery Note
