Tasting Notes
This Nero d’Avola from Sicily, is not like past styles you may associate with Puglia. The Nebacco is fresh, juicy and bright; with blackberry and blackcurrant fruits and a touch of dusty, leafy characters. Add a dryer mouthfeel with softer chalk tannins and acidity and you have a fine balanced red. 13.5% alc. Delicious. - Michael L
Winemakers Stefano, Francesco, and Roberto Caruso joined forces with Mario and Francesco Minini, who owned a marketing company in Northern Italy, to establish Caruso & Minini Estate, a state-of-the-art winery in Marsala, Western Sicily. This partnership blends tradition with modern expertise, looking toward the future. Today, Stefano’s daughters, Giovanna and Rosanna, actively participate in the winery’s daily operations, bringing new energy to the business. The wines come from the family vineyards, Giumarella and Cutaja, which grow both local and international grape varieties, each carefully planted to optimize the combination of exposure, soil, and climate.
