Tasting Notes
Raul Perez and Cesar Marquez team up for this Mencia, pulled from vines over 85 years old across around 352 tiny plots in Valtuille de Abajo. A little Alicante Bouschet and some white grapes go into the mix, it's fermented with native yeasts in steel, then spends just three months in big 5,000L foudres. This is the young, fresh one in the range, made for drinking now and a real treat from vines this old. Amazing value. - Pete L
