Tasting Notes

55% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Blanc from cult Champagne producer Charles Dufour. Organically farmed grapes from the Cotes du Bar and minimal intervention in the winemaking process. Oxidative handling in the process of this wine adds richness, depth and complexity. While being very dry in style and chalky in texture, there is weight. An absolute beauty. - Chris L

Excellent grower champagne

This is our first attempt on a bottling from Charles Dufour. Incredible finesse and complexity. Keeps up performance even stripping out bubbles naked in a Zalto Burgundy Fruit delivery is a bit slow on the palate but balanced out by other nuances like brioche and a little glimpse of barn. Excellent price point compared to other overpriced houses. We hope he does not ride the hype so folks can actually afford and drink. He should really try making some BdN. Cool label is a plus.
