Tasting Notes
This Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Champagne from Philippe and Alexandre Chartogne is bright and lively. The fresh brioche and peachy nose is followed by a racy, mineral palate with all the hallmarks of a barrel matured base. Crunchy and fresh, yet it manages to avoid all of the clichés that these taught palate wines are known for and leaves you wanting another glass. - Chris L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
