Tasting Notes
This is a cracking little white from the south of Beaujolais, where the clay and limestone soils give the Chardonnay real freshness and a bit of generosity. It's bright and pale in the glass, with lemon and pear on the nose and a lovely lift of white flowers sitting over the top. There's plenty going on once you taste it too, bold and lively to start before it opens out into all that citrus and white orchard fruit, then finishing broad and generous with the extra warmth you'd expect off a sunny vintage. Loads of character for a white Beaujolais and a genuinely delicious drop. - Pete L
