Tasting Notes
This is a fantastic mid weight Shiraz coming from a single vineyard filled with old Shiraz vines. It's made in a more restrained style that means the fruit quality really shines here. The fruit profile leans darker but is much fresher than it appears in the glass. It's aged in old French and American oak barrels which softens the wine without adding over oaky characters which would mask the fruit. Fantastic value. - Pete L
Marcus Cirillo is from a long line of Barossa grape growers with the oldest vines dating back to 1850. His family's dedication in the vineyard to quality, low-yielding fruit comes second to none, flying the flag for the Barossa as one of the original family's who built the culture of the region. - Chris L
